Rebuilding engine help

I just got my car back from the shop due to having a blown gasket and was running hot. Now my mechanic told me he rebuilt my engine work he told me he did was Cylinder head gasket, water pump, knock sensor, spark plug, service time cooling system drain and refill pretty much a rebuilt engine. My satisfaction not sounding what I'm expecting when my car has over 148, miles Especially when I first got it which was quiet, smooth and pouring. It was louder than this , but told me put new lifters on. Here's a video of what it sounds like.

Well every time I and my dad would check on it he give sum idiotic bs for instance like two Saturdays ago before I picked it up told I and my dad was ready, but needed and I quote special oil. Also on the lifters being that I live like 4000ft up in high desert (Hesperia; Victorville area is a mission to climb that hill, could have taken the car home that day, but told us needed special lifters that he needed to order which said be at his shop that following Monday.

Another thing, about 2 Saturdays ago when I came up in a rental car, at the time my mom's car (m35) needed her left rear breaks done he told us can fix it our response "what makes u think u can fix m35 breaks if u can't fix a simple engine. Dude wanted me to charge me bout 1800 alone for engine work +body work

But brakes are 100x easier to change than a "simple engine". And 1800 for the labor that he was supposed to do isn't a bad price. But considering your engine got worse fucks up the whole deal.

I know, my dad suggested I might as well do my bodywork while I was at it, that was the price for engine work +body work. At the time I didn't have 1800 even if I did I'm betting he would of screwed it up like he did my engine.

By Friday should have it ready, I'll update u guys on what is going on.

1800 isnt bad to rebuild an engine....alot of labor/machine work involved. but honestly, i would not have taken that car from the shop once i started it up......period!

I know, only reason I picked it up was because my dad suggested it and also for him listen to it as well. Was on phone w him anyway when I was picking up and let him hear it thru the phone, but wanted to see it in person when he got back from n.o, chi, indi.

Lol believe used engine, not sure how many miles or whatnot new one will have. Mechanic said why I was getting the chirp noise cuz oil wasn't getting to a certain side. I'll get specifics on new engine when I pick it up, hopefully next week.

Update:

Went to check on my car today low behold not ready after my mechanic had told me would be ready Friday which was yesterday. Says oil is getting to right side, but not the left, also still getting the clicking sound.

I called a guy named Jesse who worked at Montclair Infiniti see if he can determine what the problem is.
