Just bought a bmw 745 concave wheels..and plan on putting it on w/ a 25mm wheel adaptors..just wondering if they are safe for daily driving and - camber...??? Or is redrilling better???
Re drill is better ofcourse but spacers is ok too but it will make your wheels have lower offsets
So adaptors or spacer safe then?
perfectly fine. just make sure they are hubcentric and you torque the lug nuts properly. i've ran v2 spacers on my g for 2 years with no problems and i got slip on spacers on my y34 with no problems either

I would get the right wheel setup....not a fan of spacers, even hubcentric ones.
Honestly, safety wise, there is no problem if you buy quality spacers, even thick ass bolt on ones. But, like above, better to get the right wheel setup. Having said that, I got 5 & 7 mm spacers on my car LO. But they are hubcentric and small enough to use with factory lugs. They're more bling for me, all my sus' stuff is PBM and they're PBM so it ties in all the copper color. haha
Sorry for the old thread bump...but did you ever get these on? I've been fighting with getting mine on. I've got 25mm adapters also. My problem now is my tires (free) are too tall so I'm trying to replace them with 225/35 and 235/35. The fronts are fine, but the 10" +0 rear is what is going to be harder.

As others have said, redrilling is BETTER but spacers are fine. However, you can likely redrill for less than 4 adapters... Redrill service is usually $200-$300 spacers are going to run you $400.
I've for adapters already. A local shop will redrill for me, but won't fill holes. So im worried if that will look horrible because these wheels dont have center caps to cover the holes.

Just run the adapters and stop worrying about it. There are many people who use them including myself and never have issues. Redrilling them will look like shit, I mean.. we arn't talking about a wheel that was available in a 5x114 anyway.
no need to fill holes....you're moving the inserts in from 120mm to 114.3 so its not a big difference. im dropping my wheels off tomorrow to get redrilled for $175 :)

I think I've got a deal setup for 19" M3 wheels as trade. Losing the concave that I love, but will be less agrressive with my adapters, and a bit more shiny and flashy. Temp wheels until I can get something nicer.
dude. dont do it. jack at vrwheels will redrill for $150+ shipping both ways. hell, you can ship them to me and i'll have my guy do them for $175. lol sell the adapters, keep the wheels. and i dropped my wheels off last nite, and should have them back by sunday. i'll post pix of them then. this guy is a big bimmer guy and has done lots of redrills for the bmw community in atl.
Lol...I prolly end up getting mines redrilled....
mine are redrilled and on the car already ;)

ive been running spacers on my cars for the past 3-4 years with no issues....thats with camber and taking it on mountain runs too lol. on another note, i had my wheels redrilled/painted and running my slip on spacers that i already had ;)
