Some drifting, and a sick 180SX

Everybody has probably already seen this video but I am in love with that beige 180...I was smitten the first time I saw the vid, last year. :smitten:

I just watched it for the first time a few days ago, and i was amazed. The Silvia was hot as hell and so was "Dirt" Izumida's R32 sedan :smitten:
does anyone know who was driving the convert. S13?

? Strange, because i bought a JDM Option Crash Kings DVD a few months back, and in the subtitles it called him"Dirt Izumida" because when he crashes, his tires never touch asphalt. ???
 Could have been a mistake, though.

yup, he drives the green Kei-Office sponcered S15 in the D1 series.
he recently won the D1 round held at Irwindale speedway this month.

this guy is amazing, he was even retured on Top Gear to show off some drifting.

His name (nickname) is Dart Izumida. Dart is the Japlish for Dirt, as in Dirt turbo, or Dart Turbo.
Dart turbo is another name for "drop drift" or when a dirft car drops the outer rear wheel off the tar and onto the dirt to "accelerate" the drift (increase the angle) without using as much power, or using compression drift, usually used on the entry to a corner, pre apex..

Dart Izumida is famous for making use of the Dart Turbo, which is how he earned his nickname.

Just went to my first drift event (to watch) for the first time. Wow that was awesome . So much crashing. S14 looses wheel! popping tires/beads.  smashing off rear bumpers :D

OMG could that be any older. Thats from Big X at ebisu. Infact I was the Drift Xtreme Manager for them for two years. Izumida is a personal friend as with all of them. What is it you wanna know. Hell I have gigs of video and pix of all our stupid anticts here and in the states. ANd yes the vert is Kazama.

the s13 is a wise sports demo car. i remember when i first saw this, i actually scanned the internet to find that car.
