19" wheel/tire size help 2003 M45

Alright, I've got BMW 7 series concave wheels (19x9 F 19x10 R). I've got 25mm adapters/spacers on an 03 M45. I'm having fitment issues, so I need a less sidewall to be able to lower and camber to the height I want. I have a pair of 245/40/19 and 275/40/19 that I got for free, and now realize they are WAY too meaty. I test fit the fronts and took them off, didn't even bother with the rears. Been doing research on sizing. I've come to the conclusion I want 215/35/19 Front and 225/35/19 Rear, thats what most people seem to be running. Called my local Tire Discounters, they ran the numbers, and said they wouldn't install that size for me because they wouldn't hold bead. He suggested 225/40 F and 255/35 R. But that setup is going to set me back about $1000. Little more than I was expecting to pay. I'd love to run some used tires til I can get my correct size, ride height, and camber dialed in...but can't find anything small enough.

Any help or advice? I've searched this forum, I've searched Stanceworks and TyreStretch also...but I prefer you VIP guys advice.

Also, have a sweet deal on some 235/35/19

i would do 215 front 225 rear. Research tires that hold well stretched. Price being put into account.

Fitment would still be a major issue as you are close to running 9/10 zero offset all round.

The more I research I don't know if I want that much barrel/lip showing on the 215/35 and 225/35 setup. Yah, I'm afraid I'm more aggressive than I wanted to be with this zero offset adapters.

I've been searching high and low for used tires so I can test fit stuff so that I'm not completely screwed buying a new set. The 235/35 are $100 for a pair.

You should be able to find 235/35/19 used. It's a factory BMW size. My local place always has a bunch.

Pirelli P Zero Rossa wheels (off a 911) should fit the rear fine..and for $100 can't beat that. Now to find fronts.

Was gonna suggest 215 and 225 but ou already figured that out, however you gotta find an independent, hot-rod minded shop. They'll mount the tires, a corporate place like Tire Discounters won't do it.

I think 215 and 225 are ideal...but want to try something a little safer first time around.

Mine were redrilled so I didn't run an adapter.  I would run a 215/225 set up if you need clearance

mine were redrilled too but i'm currently running 15/10mm spacers. and i got 215/225 tires

I'm driving myself crazy by not running these yet!!! OMG!

Funny I had the same question too.. I had 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 that I was running 215/35 and 225/40 on, but I'm getting some 19s now. I think 215 and 225 is a good setup.

But 215/35 on an 8.5? What about that?

What is your alls opinion on Lowenhart BR5s? Got a guy local that wants to trade me. I'm not crazy they are chrome, but I think they are a classy wheel and have huge lips.
