New to the site came with the wrong intentions (please read)
Hello everyone my name is Luis, I have seen this site before but had never signed up until recently. First off some of the members here might have seen me or not but from a different site Liberty-VIP.com with the same screen name like I have here LuiV and for those that do remember, some of you may of read the post I made with the title "VIPing my Altima". I am a big fan of the VIP culture but I just didn''t fully understand it. Second I like to apologize to those at Liberty because of the post I made, At first I thought dropping my car, adding body kit, and some baller a$$ rims with aggressive fitment meant I was going to be VIP but I was completely wrong. I think it was kind of insulting for some of you for what I posted not sure if i'm being a little hard on myself but I saw myself like a a$$ because it was like, here is this kid that doesn't know anything about VIP style cars and wants to join something he doesn't fully understand. I didn't know what time, effort, money, blood, sweat, and tears it took some of you to make such a car. I don't want to be that type of person that rides a wave of the car scene and then jump onto the next thing I want to live it become someone and this why I'm really interested in the VIP style car lifestyle because to me there really isn't anything like it. Do I still want to "VIP" my car? yea I sure do but I still need more understanding and learning ahead of me. So not sure if my intentions were good and cleared but hopefully I have a path to doing it right and hopefully I still have the thums up from you awesome people of this site

If you look at Thailand.. you will have the answer that any car can be more awesome than a lot of the "VIP Platforms" that come from japan etc

It's all good LuiV... I know that you didn't get treated any kind of way at Liberty-vip.com... Because that Club/Family was basically Created with a Non Traditional Car Styled in vip as one of it's top Builds during it's infancy. Liberty to Build what you want and how you want it... There were many nay say'ers back then but it has been proven that if you build it with a clear vision and understanding to the style you'll be happy with yourself and your accomplishment. Maybe even open some platform elitist eyes in the process...
Do your thing and build what you want... Have fun in the process... that's all that really matters....

I think with your revised attitude on things and your will to learn you'll be just fine man. And look how many of us have "non traditional" platforms..myself included. I've never been about that and always thought it would hold us back as a community due to the lack of many of the chassis available across the pond but not stateside. So do you...

Key thing is to focus on style cues that make a car VIP styled. That's the really hard part and u usually have to go all out for a non platform for the style to be translated. Platform is just the easy way to go. IMO

I definitely want to do something different but not crazy overboard. Are there any magazines, cites, videos you guys go to get ideas or inspiration from ?
