VH45 and VH41 adapter plates *vk45 speculated*
I dont know how many of you guys would be interested to know this, but I figured I would post up anyway. Some of you may want to go manual, who knows.
For the G50 guys and y33 guys there is now a new option for adapter plates, we had the guys at www.swap1uz.com use our engines for the measurements and he now sells them. Each plate comes with the patterns for KA, z32, 350z/g35 and g37/370z transmissions it.
He also says after comparing the vh41 and vk45 bellhousing patterns that an adapter for a vh41 will work with only a few holes not lining up.

there has been a 56 adapter for a while now. The only trouble i have had was finding one for the 45. Not really sure how I feel about making a vip car manual other than to drift it. But it leaves it open big time for huge improvement in transmission mods. A lighter fly wheel, close gear ratio set, hell, even doing sequential paddle shift conversion with pneumatic operation would be awesome.

I think he charges 399.99 per plate.
He does also make a vk56 adapter, you can find them on ebay.

What do you do about the driveshaft? Custom?
6-speed Y33 would be the shizzz. Would probably bump MPG to mid to even high 20s on the fwy.

Hmm I would think it get better miles than that. I get high 20s in the F50. low 20s in town

Yes you would just take your OEM driveshaft and have the correct yoke added for what ever transmission you choose.
For the G50 guys, the 6 speed bolts right to the stock transmission mount. But the shifter sits really far back, so you would need to Z the shifter and shorten the bracket.

I think the titan and G/z use the same automatic transmissions, so all you should have to do is the the VK bellhousing instead of the Z/G. * I am not 100% sure this is correct, so do not hold me to it.*

So you're telling me with enough money I could have a 6speed Y34. Sign me up. I'll start racing all the local Vettes and EVOs around town!

OKay so if i have a N/A z32 transmission with N/a clutch, flywheel, starter and i want to put it into my 97 q45. I would buy the the adapter from swap1uz which is now collins adapters i believe. get the xcessive shortened shifter bracket and mill my bellhousing in order for it to fit? plus extending my driveshaft.
