Bippu newb from TX

Sup everyone?  My name's Mark, I'm a misplaced Texan from VA Beach, but now living in Garland, TX.  I just recently got my hands on an '89 Toyota Cressida that was someone's mad tyte Tokyo drifter in progress.  I've always been a fan of all things bippu, and I've always loved the Cressida (the 85-88 body style in particular) as a kid.  I've also been a big fan of big Japanese luxury cars slammed with some crazy dish, a.k.a. the "less is more" mentality.  I was on the fence if I wanted to go full VIP or drifter with this car, but now I'm here because I've finally made my mind up :giggity: Plus, I'm always looking for inspiration on what to do with my car, and I know I'm in the right place :biggthumpup:  Anyway.....on to the pics.

Welcome aboard!
Gonna need a killer vision to give that puppy a vip-style treatment, but totally do-able. I'd suggest to start of with a ufc10/s130 or y31/y32 facelift to get it looking more prominent.

Thanks man!  I was already planning on buying a clean & simple body kit for a UFC 10 and throwing it on, but it will have to wait until I get the 1JZ swap and air suspension done first.  I thought about finding an LS 400 or Q45 to start with, but I wanted a car that was a bit more unusual.  I'm up for a challenge (a.k.a. I'm a glutton for punishment), so here goes nothing......
