GS430 or not

So I bought myself a GS430, or atleast I think so.

Some information I can get from my papers:

- first registered in 10th of November 2000
- UZS161/3UZ-FE
- 208kW
- 4-speed automatic
- imported from Britain

What bothers me is the 4-speed and 208kW. Is there a GS430 with those specs? I assume this isn't a facelift model?
I also tried to look some info from the VIN number but I couldn't get it to match any of the VIN number decoders found on the internet.

Can you make any sense out of this VIN JT153USG10*******? The first two letters makes sense (Japan Toyota) but the rest is weird.

I'm really confused about this whole thing.

I know that but isn't the 3UZ suppose to be 224kW and 5-speed? Where does that 208kW and 4-speed come from?

might have been misreported? what papers are these?

1uz and 3uz are supposed to make 224.

from wiki:

The V8 engine also received a 0.3-liter bump in displacement and the model was renamed GS 430 (UZS161). Peak power was unchanged, but torque increased to 441 N·m (325 lb·ft). The GS 430 takes 5.3 seconds to do 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h)

The official papers (registration etc.) of the car from Britain and Finland. If they are wrong then they were already wrong in Britain and Finland just copied them without any further investigations.
I'm just wondering where they got those specs 'cause they don't match any GS model.

Also the VIN number is a mystery, can anyone solve it? :D

Haha. =) It's okay.
I'll rest my case here and assume it's a GS430.

Was thinking of making a retrofit with RX-AFS projectors from TRS. It's one way of figuring out and changing the RHD light pattern to LHD. I just need some HID brackets, anybody got a pair?
I sent e-mail to luxurymods.com if they are able to sent a pair to Finland but they haven't answered yet. :/

I have a GS dude, and its a Japan model. I think the US/UAE gets a bit more KW, but mines 208kw and 5 speed auto. I doubt yours is 4 speed. Pretty sure its the 2GS that is 4 speed.

What is 2GS if it isn't the 2nd generation GS? I've always called my GS as 2GS or 2gen GS, or just by it's model name GS430.
One of them British documents stated that it's a 5 speed so I'll go with that. The kW thing is annoying me, maybe I should get it to a dyno when I'll get it on the road again.

Edit: Could it be the Japan 280hp rule why the documents say it only has 208kW?
I've heard from somewhere that for example 2jzgte has on the documents ~280hp when it's registered outside of Japan but really it has more power than that.

Edit2: Nevermind that. Was apparently a rumor which started from JGTC racing and to be precise the GT300 class.

Edit3: I don't know anymore, I'm still confused. But I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my GS. =)
