GS Front Bumper on the EGG?

I think that I read it some where people putting the front kit of the GS on the EGG.  Has anyone attempted to do this before?  If so how is the fitment?  A friend of mine has a GS and I know that he has his "other" front kit sitting under the house collecting dust.  If the fitment works without "major modification" is this a viable (sp) option?  Better off getting a kit of the EGG? This could be "another" Senior Moment where I am seeing things that are not really there.....if that is the case please be gentle.  LOL  Man I am getting too old for this!  LOL

the only easy thing about puttin a gs bumper on a previa is their the same width...thats it.

if the width is the same as shawn says it is, it shouldn't be hard. making the width fit is usually the hardest part with customizing a front bumper. all u have to do is trim the top and make custom brackets. in the end I'm sure itd be cheaper than a branded front bumper but itd look silly without sides and rear.

Great post Shawn. Kit sold on yahoo auction japan for like $500 +shipping looks similar but not really the same. I like the square-ish look on the bottom of the DIY bumper versus the one on yahoo japan.

Nice find Shawn!  Looks like some work in order to make a GS bumper fit.

I have also seen that kit of yahoo japan.  Yes I know that it is a "knock off"........there are a couple other nice "knock offs" on there that I was keeping my eye on as well.  We will see what is the out come with the kit.....but don't have the skills or the balls to try the GS front bumper.......rather just spend that money on a kit made for the EGG.
