Was going to buy a gs300 but couldnt leave boost alone..... Problem solved..(Newbie)

I'd never considered VIP cars before. In the UK there arent loads and certainly not the US scene. Some friends of mine had been picking up luxury boats, ls400s, gs300s and I loved the tech but not the engines. I couldnt bring myself to going to an NA. I decided that I wanted a 2jz. I was looking at the Supras but couldnt bring myself to go from a turbo to an NA. TT was out my budget so after seeing some wacky lexus' my friends bought I decided i'd look at those. Nearly bought a V8 but then stumbled on Aristos.... Anyhow... Here's my progression through cars over last couple of years and where I am now.

First Jap car I had was a civic 1.8 vti.

Sold that and bought my first scoob, approx 270bhp.
Before and after shots.

I wanted something more economical but then ended up going from 4wd to a bruiser

This was circa 330bhp

Then moved onto something that was a go kart...

Had a mapped Leon cupra tdi running 185bhp and 300lb torque then....

Then i go back to a Scoob.

And then i went for the QE2.....(knackered radiator and all (now repaired))

I've owned the car about 9 weeks now, 19 x10js have been ordered then I will lower. I would love to go as low as the US but the roads near me would kill the car so have to keep a little height there.

We we got that car with a 2JZ in America, that would have been my platform. Seems like you've been all over the car scene.

Yeah you could say that :-)

I always wanted to have a rally car, a go kart, a straight line car and neccessity meant i had to find a quick diesel at one point.

I stumbled on the aristo purely by chance, there are only I believe about 70 registered in the Uk in the last ten years and about 6-10 on the road at the moment so I have a little sleeper exclusivitiy :)

I'm looking forward to getting some 19s on in the next couple of days then i need to start saving to slam it:)

The US version has a 2JZ, just not a turbo version. The turbo swap is plug and play for all intents and purposes though...

New wheels are now on as of today. They are 19 x10s on the rear and 8.5 on the front. Sit flush with the arches also which is nice. Just need to lower the car at some point.

Comparison of the two wheels....

Little bit of dish on them....

Quick snap from the side....

Well wheels arrived, got a really great deal on tem. I've bought some springs for the car rather than Coilys as the Uk roads are so bad near me. Fronts lowered now in this pic and is much better than it was as stock. I have loads of speed bumps near me too so cant lower how they are your side of the pond. Rear I still need to get lowered as I looked and it seemed a pig to do.

Welcome aboard bro.
Why waste money on just springs, which really don't do nothing... just minuscule lowering but doesn't stiffen the suspension up. And with stiffer susp. you CAN lower your ride more, without much worrying. Just need to drive the "right way", i.e. angling for high bumps...
Plus you get more out of your Aristo. I loved going full blast down every road with my rock hard Aristo, but eventually I went with air suspension to get even lower... nothing to do with my lower back pain =)
