Considering to add airbags to my coils. Will it ride as smooth or worse?
So guys Ive been seriously considering adding air bags to replace the springs on my BC Coils. Looking at a simple FR kit as I dont really want Side to Side control. Tips or Suggestions please. My kit will pretty much be a full UAS kit over my Coilovers. 1/4" kit as I dont want fast up/down. Im looking to be able to get an extra inch or so of clearance when entering my work parking garages. Also my job sites vary on a day to day basis so sometimes the ability to raise a car by an inch or two is a huge deal for me. Also will it be hard to keep my driving height at this level and still have lift?

I used to have UAS bags with BC coils on my UCF20. Ride was good, I could ride pretty low and raise enough to clear something.I´m not good with air stuff, but you should get good air managment, AccurAir with 3 memo´s and height auto adjustment would be nice !

or just get a cup kit so that way you dont have to worry so much about management to keep it at the height you want while driving. be almost the same price as all of that with management. And get to keep you coilovers.

ride quality will depend on a number of variables, there's no one size fits all answer.
even if you don't care about side to side you're better off getting an 8 valve setup because of uneven weight side to side and wieght transfer.
autoleveling does make the experience better.
cups are an option.

I had an Ls430 on bc coils, sold it moved back to japan, bought a crown and put bc coils plus phantom air cup kit. For 2500 u could get tue phantom air cup kit. Ive been driving on it for six months now no issues and if u want to keep that coilover road feel bit be able to raise it up an inch or two (it has three inches of travel) then air cup is best.
I know a complete air susp setup with air management would ultimately offer probably a smoother ride with more options and driving heights but i think ot would be 6k plus.
