Oh sweet. Yeah i heard my dad was a ruler over in Zimbabwe. And I guess they are getting the money for their food and irrigation supply so I get to collect the premium off it while it goes back to the country. So I guess I dont really need to sell these after all. But, I do in fact have Two Packs that i can give out.

i'm actually really surprised that there aren't really expensive name brand things like this on the market.

so i ordered some HKS exhaust tips off ebay a couple weeks back cuz the real very similar looking ones were going to be about $600 from this vip japanese shop here where i live at and they came in from a sender in china...  well they are very likely knock offs since i paid $60 (including shipping) and i brought them to the vip shop and showed them...  they said it must stand "Hong Kong Sports"  ;)

and then i was secretly asked on my way out if i could procure more of these by one of the tech/mechanics ;)

Moral of the story is that stuff is just way way too overpriced in japan, so much so that most people out here can't afford it or would rather do something else with their $600 than put exhaust tips (not mufflers or full cat back) on their cars...  but i guess this is what makes it rare/vip right?

Yeah it has lot to do with bragging rights like over priced tshirts and jeans. But knock off kits and wheels is a different thing cause its a major item. Not something small like exhaust tips that cost way less to manufacture and design. But not get on knock vs non. Let's keep it with what useless over priced things have you seen from these people. DAD has a lot of that nick knac trinket diamond stuff you would have thought Rihanna endorsed it or other way around

dude yeah, i see much more kei/box cars/box van vehicles pimped out over here than any other type of car.  half of the tricked out ones i see at least have a nice stance even if they are only like 12" inch wheels, and half of these have nice hid's body kits and exhaust systems.. some just have crazy neons and blinking lights with hello kitty stereo boxes and way to much sparkly plastic bling bling crap.

i even caught myself giving the nod to one of these (carzy sparkly girly pimped out box vans) dudes at a stop light the other day and then i realized how gay that really was  ;)


i'm a hafta take some pics the next time i'm in a shop that sells all this crap...  but if you've seen it then you already know what i'm talking about.
