Passenger side 1/2 inch to 1 inch higher than drivers side
I just installed a Ksport Air Deluxe kit on my 99 Acura 3.5 RL. It has a 2 valve system for front and rear control. I ran the air lines to the fronts inside my sideskirts and i ran the lines for my gauge inside my car, and i ran the T split an inch after the valve box, and then the T split to the struts another inch after that.
My car (like the title says) sits about 1/2 inch higher on the right rear vs the left rear and about 1 full inch higher on the right front than the left front. it doesnt seem to balance out till i air up the rears to about 100 psi, but then i do that, i hear what sounds like a thud when i go over big enough bumps or undulations in the road. i think its coming from the right rear shock. I have my ride height set at 120-130psi front and 70-80psi rear and dont hear the thud, but my rears arent quite level at that psi. my fronts dont start leveling till about 140psi. I havent yet screwed my mounting board down to the trunk floorboard, to that could be the thud i hear, is it worth trying to screw it down?
Ive adjusted the lower mounts on the left side of the car to attempt to compensate for the height difference to no avail...(and now when i go full low the left side is higher than the right, but i really want that even too, might have to readjust it again...)
and my airlines are all fairly the same length...
any input would help, thanks!

Hmmm interesting, might be a weight thing with the RL. Double check the coil adjustments and if right you'd need to get em adjusted with scales.
And yes that box ain't light so bolt it down properly.

go to an 8 valve setup. has to do with weight distribution, the air is moving from the heavier side to the lighter side.

Well you can always order extra valves from K-Sport and install em in the box(should be the same size basic/lux/pro). I got D2's old setup (same but no box)and I bought the extra valves(+comp) to get a better ride, didn't cost much.

how much did that run you? cause my valves are in an enclosed box... i suppose i could always get a second box and run it in parallel but accuair just seems easier and more practical in the long run...

Extra valves cost me something between 100-150€ 4 years back... but now that I checked out the newest design the Pro Plus box is in fact different than the rest. Try contacting K_sport to see if they are willing to swap out the box to the 4 corner one.
This box is the one you need:
There ain't gonna be enough room in your existing box to cram the extra stuff in apparenly... To bad they made em so nice and small from the get go :shrug:
Although another option would be modifying the old box to accommodate the extra valves or getting an another 4 valve box to run in parallel.

just go accuair. no point in spending money to move sideways, might as well step it up.
