#474438Suspension Predicament (y33 broken part)
Ok... so I have a set of Y33 Anceltion coilovers, these coils like many others for the Y33 use an air filled strut opposed to a gas shock. This air strut uses a schrader valve to control dampening. What happens when that strut take a little tumble without the camber plates attached? You smash the little fitting that holds the valve and keeps air into the damper. So, that's exactly what I've done. Now I need to find this fitting or else I will be throwing these coils in the garbage!
Fitting appears to be a 1/4" threaded on both sides with an O ring in the middle. When tightened the O ring locks below the nut edge and just the 10mm nut portion is exposed.
It's thread on the top and bottom as well as the inside (for the schrader) I don;t care if the little cap doesn't go back on, but I need to find a fitting that will except a schrader valve and thread into the top of the damper.
If anyone has something like this, please save my life!!!
In the mean time, anyone with coilovers that use the same fitting on the damper can you please take some pics and measurements for me? Especially Insurance coils as I've heard they may share some parts. But anybody with some ideas I'm all ears!
I'll post some photos of it in a few minutes.
