Newb from okc

My name is Ryan but in the custom scene most people know me as
Grip.aka Form and Function custom built. I am a member of Negative camber
And have been featured on the cover half a dozen times.
I have read every newb thread in 101 among other's and have a good feel
For this forum and it's members.
Why am I here?

I am here because the big body hold's a special place in my heart.
Over the year's I tried to ignore it and even go other route's but I
Find myself being pulled back year after year.
I am real big into jag's having owned a handfull and wanted to start
a custom project. A quick internet search brought me to prese's car and I figured
this is a good place for me. Though some of my direction will not be traditional I promise a creative
and interesting build thread.
What is vip to me? Vip to me is big low expensive car's built to
High standards.
Traditional vip to me is a new asian style derived from several other custom
scene's .
So that's how I feel.

thank's, glad to be here

So after six months of searching I found what I wanted, an
05 xjr. I chose this car because it's lighter and more advanced
than previous models but still retain's the ob2 which makes it modifiable
unlike the new ugly one's.

Stance, I don't exactly have my plans nailed down yet but bags, wheels and exhaust
Go without saying. This car doesn't leave much to want so interior and lighting wont
be addressed. It also sports an all aluminium body so stretching could prove interesting.
Mina gallery does offer a kit but it looks like a lip liner to me and theres no good info on it in typical
Jag fashion.

Visitor, I usually stay in altus during the week for work and okc on the weekends.

sounds like solid plans! if i can do anything to help let me know! i know a good place to stretch tires here in okc
i wonder how aggressive specs those can handle without major fender molestation!
oh and if you have any pics of some previous projects that would be cool also!
