suspension options for the Y33 Q45

Are there any after market springs/shock combo or coils that does not involve sending in your spindles so they can cut them off and weld them to shocks body? I know JIC makes coils, but what other options are there without any modding/downtime.

So far I know of only one guy who carries Tein S-tech Springs for a Q45 (Y33). This guy named Kevin.

So all of the coilovers regardless of company will need the spindle welded onto the shock?

Of all the coilover systems I have seen, they all have the spindle already welded to the strut/shock body. JIC will ask for a core charge for the spindles, and I think you will have to send your OEM struts to them. Insurance Group coilovers can be ordered through Van @ One Ton Garage and you won't have to pay any core charges. With your OEM Struts and Tein S-tech you will not have to worry about any spindle issues. If your struts/shocks are in need of replacement, you can go either OEM or KYB SR Specials (also available through Kevin Falk or Van). Hope this info helps you out.

you can get insurance coilovers from Oneton for about 2000 bucks, no core charge, no hassle. good guy.

I currently have Trust Lowdown and Kyb SR's, I cut one coil off from the rear and it sits and rides very very nice. I'll up some pics later tonight, You do NOT need to SLAM and stretch for good stance.

Whichever route you decide to take, just make sure you think long and hard about what exactly you expect from the car and its suspension. If you KNOW you want to ultimately (maybe not right away, but even sometime in the near future) go lower than you could with just aftermarket springs, then coilovers are your best option unless you want to go air. Or if you KNOW you will never have the need or want to sliggity slam your car, then the springs/struts setup would be the way to go for you...

Ok so far we got:

-JIC (have to send spindle out to them)
-Tein S-tech Springs
-Insurance coilovers from Oneton (Dont need to send spindle out)just quoting "Qproject" on this.

Anymore options to add to the list as far as companies that make spring/coils for the y33

Also has anybody heard of IMPUL making springs for the y33? and who carries them...
