What do they call it in Japan.. A buddy of mines is interested in getting a bodykit for his wifes ride...Post pics if you have any..Thanks in advance..

NEVERMIIND.... I looked through some Stylewagon and VIPwagon mags and it's still called MPV..I thought it was called the presage (?)...

But some links and pics to bodykits and springs would be nice..

It is called the "premacy" in japan. Search that on e-bay and you will get hits from the UK.

Nope, The MPV is called the MPV regardless of market or country
The Premacy is our Mazda 5
The Presage is a Nissan mini-van

Ah you found some. Those are LW3W, ##EW, and ##5W platforms.

If its an 06 then its a H16 sub gen of the LW3W-LWFW chassis. So far the only companies that made kits for the last gen US version are.

Mint Blue has a reputation for poor fit (at least on USDM Proteges) but don't take my word for it, it's just a rumour

This is authentic MintBlue? I am sure you know that most vehicle bumpers are not the same in the North America and Japan.

I talked with the US distributor and he mentioned that some of the first people to use MintBlue kits in the states had to heavily modify them to fit the US bumper. He also mentioned that later there was enough demand for certain platforms that they were able to get a hold of a US bumper to base a new kit off of. IIRC MintBlue is a small shop, making parts only when orders come in.

oops! sorry, that is correct. I was reading too fast. I had been doing a lot of research on both the MPV and the 5. Thanks for the correction gokahl!

I take that back, the new generation MPV is called the Mazda 8 in some countries like Hong Kong/ Taiwan.
