Imagine driving to work in an EXE Style and a Vip Style car. Both send out completely different cues to onlookers. to put it short, EXE Style is like a rich man's style and Vip style is like a druglord's style.

so Exe style is more grown up and less gawdy.

and VIP is more baller/gangster "swagger"

either ay, i think people got too bored and wanted to look "revolutionairy"... so they started segregating it.... which is gay, VIP is VIP whether or not its a 50 year old in a LS430 with wide wheels lowered on a Fabubu kit, or a 23 year old in a 93 Q45 widebody slammed on duchalalets (3 piece)

its all the same, quit making buzz

Eh I think it is good to differentiate. Thats why terms become catch phrases and mainstream media. People start using things interchangeably. Thats the problem of it all, and why it will be LIKELY played out even more within the next couple months. Someone will hear there car is EXE when it is not, then they will call their stuff VIP, and then it gets ruined. I know a lot of people are just calling it bippu on boards until the VIP fad blows over. VIP is just a popular term right now and everyone wants to have it. Thats the way trends go. (as it did with JDM catchphrase-which is still present-, with drifting kids wanting Silvias and AE86s-which is dying off-, and now with VIP that is coming on strong.

My interpretation of VIP and EXE styling is that VIP styling would be more of full bumper/half bumper kits with agressive low offset wheels with 2piece/3piece designs. EXE styling would be more of a lip kit/add-on type and semi-agressive offset wheels ranging from 1piece - 3piece.

In terms of stance, I think that EXE cars have less of a "ground hugging appearance" while vip will have the appearance of the vehicle "floating" on the ground.

well tell him you want the wald exhaust now. LOL. that exhaust you have there is out of place though....BUT i'm sure you can convince him that 'changing it' and selling your exhaust will still be like he bought it for you lol.

I think the car looks great! The openings in the bumper are perfect size for the tips on the exhaust. How big is the Wald exhaust tips?

I was thinking that the the EXE was a more euro-styling look. Like when you see the Benz and/or Bmw w/ stagg wheels and very little to no camber. I know w/ ppl jumping on bags now it seems a bit redundant and the performance is still all there. Suppose there is just two types, agressive and subtle styling.

This is the style I really want to go after. But the work needed to make it happen is just a bit out of my reach right now.

If somebody buys my car and makes it look like this it will be insanely insane:dance: Same wheels too.

^^ who cares about the title. Just mod your car to your liking. LS and GS are great platform cars and the more popular ones.
