Ordering Front Halves

Any suggestions for Lowenhart LSR?

Want to resize the front lip increasing about a half inch.

What are you asking? Where to get them or???

Does anyone have suggestions on ordering front halves for Lowenhart LSR's.

Place, what to consider when ordering, any info would be helpful. I was going to reach out to B.Gorman.

not sure what you found but you know the lip and barrel are welded right? they will have to be machined apart or you will need inners and outers. the drill may not be standard so count the bolts and the distance between them. the diameter of the opening may not be standard as well.

They are not welded. I have taken them apart already to get the faces sand blasted and re powdered coated a different color.

I have counted the holes but did not measure the distance as the holes for the face are larger than the rest of the hole in the barrel.

well that's a new one. every set of lowenharts i've ever seen, including lsr, have been welded.

i can't make out the second sentence but whoever you get your lips from should be able to tell you what they need from you.

I did not measure the distances between each hole. The holes for the bolting the face to the barrel is larger than the holes for bolting the barrels together.

the bolt hole measurment is taken center to center so it sould be the same regardless of which piece you measure.

i was also referring to the large opening in the center of the hoop. your wheels are face mounted so it may not be an issue, but if there is a lip on the back of the face where it drops into the hoop you will want that diameter measurment as well.

so finally started getting these back together and you were right about the small lip on the back of the faces.
I am trying to resolve an issue on the custom lips but looks like will be just swapping front and rear inner barrels.

Had knee surgery so that would be why the reply was so late.

Hoping for some finding a reputable place to buy the wheel halves.  I'm restoring a pair do enkei rpf1 type rc wheels and looking for a step lip in 18".  Appreciate any advice.  Thx guys
