s14 rear struts-springs-coilvers for y33 yeah ?

can anyone confirm that REAR s14 coilovers will bolt on to y33 ?

I know the front won't fit but the rears will right ?

uhh... I know Z32 will bolt up so S13 SHOULD bolt up so S14 SHOULD bolt up... but... S14 coils will not be well suited for the Q45's weight.

it will probably give you a bad ride/blown shocks really quickly. there was one person running jic springs or something like that from an s14 on his y33 though...

S14 is WAY longer than S13/R32/Z32. . they basically go by generation. . like R33 uses S14 rear damper length, whereas R32 (Z32 also of same era) uses the shorter S13 length. . Im pretty sure Y33 SHOULD use the S14 length.. which is about 4 inches longer than S13. . You can see the diff in where the top of the coilover sits. . in the Earlier cars. .the strut top is IN the trunk, in the Newer cars the strut tops are almost in the rear parcel shelf. .

If the S14 rear struts fit then that would be a pretty decent setup with the FLTA2's since it's a 5kg setup(a little soft i would think). Y33 VIP A2's are valved and set to a 7kg rear. You COULD get some A2-RS S14's and they will valve them to whatever spring rate you want! If they do fit let me know guys. But were still SOL on the fronts matching up.

A lot of the Y33 guys in Japan swap out to heavier spring rates than even what companies like JIC include with their coilovers. Going to an even lower rate... is sorta not the best idea, esp since most people who want to look for cheaper lowering alternatives are mainly concerned with just sliggity slamming their cars. 
For the fronts, just gut the struts, cut them down, weld on threaded tops and coilover sleeves, and slip in some shorter inserts.
