coilover brackets have a tube welded to the lower plate to space the bag for the fitting. these are for stock shocks.

there are threaded ones that look just like the standard "slip over" ones that are for sale here...made for specific coilover brands.

is there any danger on using a slide over on a coil over?

depends on the size of the coilover adjusting rings...
The ones designed for coilovers simply makes the bag sit an inch or so above the adjustment rings. This is to make sure that the air fitting clears the ring...some coilovers need it, some dont.
I used these on coilovers because the coilover rings didnt touch my fittings.

i read that if u used a slide over insted of a threaded plate it could mess up the thread on the coilover and knock the bag outta place any truth to this?

LoL! ...be careful what you read on the internet.
threaded bottom plates are made by some company (NoT UAS) for a couple different (Tien and BC i think) coilovers. They allow you remove one of the adjusting rings and just use the plate to adjust the height.
Not that big of a deal
**People who dont know this stuff should ALWAYS take their cars to professionals who do. Your suspension is not something to mess with if you dont know how basic dampers and bags work.

OHHH I SEE what ur saying now i think i misread then LOL i was under the impression that the bracket would sit atop of the coil ring wit the bag ontop but if i get what ur saying the bracket will replace the coil ring all together if that was the bracket of choice
