Im Kenny, From the bay area and im here to learn more about vipstyledcars!

I traded my Honda s2k for a reliable 4door dailly driver. i stumbled upon this forum in the process of doing research on the car. I actually was going to trade my car with James of Vipdout but i flaked cuz my car got keyed and spray painted.... well it encouraged me to further on with the build.

I recently sent my car into the Body for a pearlesant white paint job with a hint of blue, so far the car is half painted since im waiting a package from Vertex in japan. I'll be running the aristo front end conversion. I would like to say thank you to Dat over at Vertex USA for hooking it up.

Once i get the car back, i will be installing my accuair management and airrex struts. and again i would like to thank ACCUAIR for hooking me up. they were the start of my build and the first thing ive bought for the car. ill be trying to take a try at hardlining the system myself, since i did the hardwood trunk myself

i also will be attempting to mirror polish my whole wheel, since im too broke into the build for rebarreling right now.

got little things like jag tablesand etc but once things get going i'll be pdating with pictures.

different than the usual mod list around here. very respectable.

Nice performance mods. I'm very envious, because the GS has great potential for comfy fun. How's everyday driving with the aftermarket torque converter though? And did you chart any gains with the S-AFC?

thanks guys, yeah you could definitely feel tha gain in power, it was fun driving the car fast till i lowered it ahahaha. im not using the safc right now, cuz the mechanic said it short circuited my car so he unwired it, but i'm looking into getting a oil cooler installed to go with it. its heating up more than i want it too.

my first attempt at hardwood trunk before i sent my car in for paint, im thinking about selling this and making a new one. i have yet to make a rendering on how i want it with the air management.

dope. don't think i've seen a vertex gs 2.5 on the forums yet. cant wait to see what you've in store.

the only other one i know of would be pandas gs, but i hope this build does come out as good as everyone here.

i also had the chrome trim around my car painted white, the vertex front end does not have that chrome trim on it and i wanted to keep the car flowing.

im also open to trade wheels, i wanna down size to 18's or 19's. bay area meet up only.

great start looking forward to see where this goes...

Mmmm. I'm jealous of your TOM's F/R Underbace and 6-Link.. I want those for my setup by the end of the year. I hear it makes a world of a difference in handling.

I like it a lot! But is it me or the front hangs slightly lower then the rest of the car? Or am I jumping the gun???

Justin you are right, the front end doesn't really match up with toms side skirts, I'm working on extending them with plexiglass. 

And right now I don't have anymore picture to share because I don't think the car is ready. This is my daily driver tho, if your in the bay you'll see my rolling around. I do have more pics on Instagram tho @hellachunky

Yeah by revision audio or sumthing? Theirs definitely sick. Reason why I didn't get the sides and rear to go with the front. This front end is signicantly wider than the rest of the car. So now I'm looking at new rear quarter panels,sides and rear to pull off the aggressive front.

It's not no award winner, but it's my daily. I'm still working on my air setup. My fitment ain't all that. My rear quarter panel is all fucked. But I'm loving this car. Hopefully I'll be making a drive down to vip fest?

Your car looks good. I too wanted this conversion when I had my gs at the time. Do you know if your able to use the factory 3gs bumper?

You wouldn't be able to fit any 3GS bumper on here because it's custom fit for the fenders and etc

I def need more aggressive wheels. It's just sucks clearing those stoptec bbk. But I do have plans ongoing more aggressive for this car. Everything is just a bit expensive when you want things one off. I can't get things done ass fast as mos people on here but I'll fasho bring sumthing different. I'm only 19, this is my daily so it's going to be around

How much camber are you planning to run in the rear?

What are your current camber setting for the rear? If I remember correctly, I was able to pull off -6 in the rear w factory settings. I dont think its to late to enter. I will be present w my crew. Unfortunately I wont be driving my 460 even though its slammed but its all stock. Instead I'll be pushing my buddies 400. I'd like to see  your car in person.

Like -3. The previous own put a camber kit in there. I need to find a acentric bolt for the control to make it adjustable again. Thanks for reminding me about the show, I just registered!!! This is about to be my first real show I hope I don't get denied. My car definitely needs work. ESP interior. Hopefully rhd black interior one day. Shit everyone seems to be custom fitting bumpers together ! Fitting the oem  bumper to the after market

i mean you can fit any bumper, but its gonna require work to make it work. idk i was told all of these parts are made specific for a 2gs and wouldnt work with 3gs

thanks man, i wanted sum thing that not just anyone could buy and bolt on. i have a lot of things planned for, like side skirts, rear bumper, trunk etc. trying to get all the things done that i can do by myself or learn. its just more fun

Idk just doesn't seem right..... like doing a s13.5 conversion... just doesn't flow with the body. Maybe it looks better in person....

I feel where you're coming from, I mean it's a 10year facelift. The car also looks really incomplete since I have toms sideskirt and rear bumper. If I had the vertex ones it would have. Been an easier transition. But either way ima cut them up to to make sumthing original. But as of right now I'm working on wide body kit for the car follow me on Instagram to see the progress @hellachunky

honestly, ive been thinking the same thing, im doing it with fiberglass its because its sumthing im capable of doing in my garage, its diy and im learning as i go, but sumone told me they could do metal fenders for me for 700 bucks and im thinking about it

This car has been in project mode for quite awhile, and its going to be in for a few more phases before its fully complete. my plans for the car will remain on the low for now

ohyeah, side skirts was hand made by me at home and so was the fender vent.

what's the story with the hood off in the pics?  reminds me of mine when it was during the construction stages.

ahaha no hood cause its never ending project mode. the car was actually still in pieces for sanding and body work in my garage at home. i put the car back together and sprayed it with flat black plastidip to cover all the bondo in one day and i ran out of plastidip for the hood lolol! but i got it all together for the grand opening at my job. I've been really caught up with my job and starting my own carclub and brand lowkuza.com hopefully ill be able to take out my car with a legit paint job by sfautosalon
