Loving the interior. I'm just such a sucker for white cars with tan interiors, especially lit with cool-white. The fit on those dish-style wheels was great, I gotta say, good work.

Reminds me of my old Protege, but with a better stance.

Thank you! I loved it as well and I miss my dream wheels :( as far as the stance/VIP thing, I still have a lot left that I wanna do. Gotta get a rear lip, vipdout tray, reupholstered seats, new carpet, more lighting, double din and a slew of other things. I really wanna be on air by the end of the year

VIP influenced. But you would need more than just wheels. Fitment is on everything these days so that is not a VIP thing either.
Car still looks good either way. just don't worry about categorizing it. :)

It's a WIP, from what I understand.

ack, having flashbacks from discussions circa 2006-7

But those Civics you posted are definitely hella good inspiration for people doing compacts.

I understand its not everyone's cup of tea. I never thought the car was 100% VIP but I've taken a lot of influence from the culture, not just fusa's and tsuna's. like I previously stated, this car is far from done. I'm proud of my work considering what the car looked like 4 months ago. It's all good. I got thick skin

I also don't think anyone knows how hard it is to mod this car. Aftermarket support hardly exists, aggressive kits are non existent, tucking 18s is nearly impossible without tubbing the car. I owned a ucf20 ls400 and had lots of plans for it but it just didnt fit me, so i switched back to the civic. I apologize for saying VIP "style". I'm not trying to turn this into a bloodbath.

Trust me, when I first joined this site I had a S14 and my plate said vip s14... I'm not saying stop trying because there are certainly some civics out there that are more "vip" than some platform cars I see called vip. That being said, you have your work cut out for you.. lots of custom body work, way more than just being "slammed". Need to tub to be able to tuck? Sounds good, start tubbing!

Ok, now you are going to far... you want us to empathize with your car being hard to mod!? A civic!? Really?? It's the easiest car to mod on the planet.

Dude. You think a 7th gen is a challenge? Try a Protege. But nevertheless, just read through the 101 stickies, you'll see why us old-timers are all cranky 'n stuff about this. You'll get it. The general consensus was "to hell with labels, just make it look cool" anyways.

As I said, good start, it'll turn out.
