I need something cleared up....

i have a 97es300.... im tryin to get some suspension info. iknow there alot of similarities between the lexus es and toyota camry. if im not mistaken they ride on the same frame/ chassis? and all the suspension components are the same except that the lexus is heavier and therefore it rides using a heavier springrate?

so here is what i need answered:

Would i be able to used a set of coilovers for the same year camry or camry solara?

i want to attempt to VIPstyle my car. so i want it to go very low on an agressive wheel(fwd offsets) but i would liek to maintain a decent ride quality

thanks guys/ gals.

well, if you want to go low, for one you are already going to have a lot of bumpsteer. which i am noticing alot on my 97es w/19" rims. and there is nothing that you can do, because of the lack of adjustable suspension components for our vehicles, mainly from tierod ends. but it does look hot.

i want to go wide. im definitely gunna roll the fenders but im not sure if i can afford to pull them. so what the lowest offset i could go on an 8 or 9 inch wheel with rolled fenders

search for my post in this section. you can see my setup. the lowest on 9" width wheels that i can get, and i cant possibly see anything lower than that, is +23 et.
