98 GS400...sunroof

I have done a search and have seen a few threads on the sunroof problems related to a 98 gs-series.  I have cleaned the rails, inspected the motor, etc.  Still will not close completely.  

Where I'm at now is, can I supply 12 volts to a particular pin to get the sunroof to close and then just unplug until a replacement unit can be had?  If so, which wire?  I simply want to close the roof.  The car stays in the garage for now, but once my truck sales, it will be my daily driver and I need the roof sealed up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw, new owner of a 98 gs400 my buddy was building.  He passed away in a motorcycle wreck earlier this year.  I purchased the car from his mom and will be picking up where he left off.

Looks like it will have to be a new window motor.  Lets ask this question...has anyone been able to determine if you can manually crank the sunroof shut and unplug the switch as to not have it opened again until the motor is replaced?

My bass has messed up mine and cracked the actual roof of my car too
I have to hold the button and push it closed at the same time sometimes

I would be totally okay with that right now, haha.  This is way different.  The roof will open fine, but will only close incrimentally, only to reverse backwards after forward progress is made.  So, with some persuasion, I can mostly get it moving forward, but it will not go completely shut and is tilting down instead of sealing.

had the same issue...  try removing all the crap in the rail and guides with those computer cleaner spray cans and then apply white lithium.  You'd be amazed how sensitive those anti-pinch sensors can be.
