A Freak, ridiculous, or plain VIP???

I'am talking about keeping your car clean......for those of you riding WIDE!
 
It is so crazy hard keeping my car clean for a day......I dont know about ya'll......but this past week I have washed my car every single day:eek: ....well, exept on friday....
 
it doesn't really bother me....I got it down to a T....with in 10 minutes...I'm done...spray, dry, clean wheels....and I'm off...
 
but it sucks cause its so wide that by the end of the day the sides of the car are all dusty and stuff:sad: 
 
maybe cause I'm in the field all day...
 
anyone else wash their car that many times..??...or am I just a freak:judge:

why dont you use some spray type cleaner instead of washing every day. like meguires quik detail or maybe something better. i use brand called diamond mist or something like that. we use it for shows and after washes. it shines hella good after you use it also and it gets of the dust, we also use it on our wheels. im sure its just dust and not hard dirt thats been on there for a week or so. i dont think you have to go to that extreme. theres products out there you know.

I use Adam's detail spray about every day on my car (with a clean microfiber towel), and I wash the car once a week.

Adam's stuff is awesome! I've known him since we were 7!

We used to make fun of a guy in my class who would wash his Caravan everyday, my teacher would joke that he was going to wash the clear right off. :D

But seriously, if it only takes 10 minutes, that's awesome!

You can never let them see you sweat. I wipe the car when I get to work afterI wiped it down before I left. Especially in the summer with bugs and all. VIP doesn't look cool with bug murder on the front of the car.

every night I just spray and wipe the hood, trunk, and windshield with water, and then I just wipe it off with a microfiber and DONE.

if you dont have a microfiber towel you should invest in a couple, theyre great for taking dirt off your car.

If your tire wear is as bad as you mentioned... the dust you're seeing on your car is tire dust.

man, at this point, i was it every saturday, unless my wheels have alot of brake dust. then i wash it when i have time

but 12 hour workdays dont promote car washing time

I guess I can switch over to a spray and maybe wash it every 3 or 4 days:rolleyes:

I have some micro fiber.....but what I usally use is too very old shammys...the older the better. one is for strickly the sides and trunk and hood....and the other is for the bottom dirtier part of the car...I always spray wash the shammys too....but I'm definitley going to try a spray of some sort.

Yeah, I thaught that too.....but its not...its alot of road debris....very fine dust and such....:cool:

THats the price u pay to drive with a wide stance.  I feel bad for the cars behind me on the highway when it rains lol.

I used to get that stuff all over my car but my new trick is to use the meguires tire gel with the medium gloss.  I clean and dry the tires first.  Then i apply that stuff and let it sit for atleast half an hour.

I definitely fully wash my car once a week but I California dust it about every other day. I'll see if that changes when I put my wider wheels on in a few weeks.

does black cherry show dirt pretty easily?

Hmmm, well tire dust is actually very fine also... it's also possibly road debris, yes... but if there's black dust towards the sides and rear of rear bumper.. it's also quite possibly tire dust. And if it is, the alignment should help alleviate some of that

I dont know if its because my car is a gunmetal grey, or if its just because my wheels are aligned better, but i dont notice too much dirt behind my wheels when i clean my car... Not as much as i thought there would be, considering nearly half of the bottom of the wheel pokes out past the rear bumper.
 
Either that or i am not quite a cleanfreak LOL... The car still looks clean after a day or 2 of driving!

yes u r a freek..ahahha jk..my suggestion is that don't wash too much, it'll juz wash out/fuck ure paint job in long term..as for me once a week, but serious clean except interior once a month for me..^^

i just washed my car. I had more brake dust in my wheel dishs htan dirt on the car

works good on exterior, but it never got the milky residue off the inside of the lip where the water from the night would collect and puddle.

That is why my car is always inside the garage or the parking structure at work.

But most of the time my pops washes my car, since he is retired, and hates to see my car dirty.

Wow I wish I had time to wash my car once a month! Please feel free to come to Hawaii and help me clean my dirty car...hehe.

I am so gangsta that I drive around w/a garden hose, a spray nozzle, soap, chamois and other supplies in my trunk. I am a realtor so when I show a property, I'd roll up in the Guest Parking, connect my hose and spray my shiet down. Yes, I got banned from several condos for using their RESIDENTS-ONLY car wash but fuck 'em! I run 'em hard! So I roll fresh and so clean clean. That is all.
