Setting up the tank with a quick connect and inflation valve HELP

hey fellas,

Im trying to piece together my air suspension  and I want my tank to have a quick connect for a air tool hose and a inflation valve.

1. Is it ok to put everything on the bottom where the 1/4 npt is at and just put a male branch tee on it? so the inflation valve is in the back and the quick connect upfront.
I want it there so it looks cleaner. 

2. Do i need to put a check valve with the inflation valve?

You got a water trap before the tank right? If so no harm to put it in the bottom, also no harm in putting a check valve incase the Schrader valve malfunctions... But it just my 2cents.

a water trap before the tank only does so much good because the air has not completely cooled when it gets to the tank. you will still have water in your tank and if you tee off the bottom expect to have a lot of moisture running through your tools. no bueno.

smc water trap is after the tank then to the manifold

OG, ive seen one of your installs with the quick connect did you put a check valve on it also or just tee it off?
