now that ive finally got my q on the road i want to do a tune up and was wondering what spark plugs you guys out there are using. also has anyone ever done a transmission fluid/filter change?

Just use OEM Nissan parts. Plugs should be NGK platinums. I did my tranny fluid last year, but i took it in to a shop so they could use a fluid exchanger and replaced all the fluid with mobil 1. Diff fluid im also using Mobil 1, whatever weight the FSM says, i dont know it by heart.
The Y33 doesn't have a trans fluid filter. But a simple drain an fill will help. Just measure how much you take out, I think an exchange is suppose to be 6L or something like that, mine was slightly low for some reason when I swapped it. Any Dexron III will do the trick. As for plugs, go OEM.
i used some sort of denso iridium, i think. not sure on the exact model though
Thanks for the help. Would the ngk g-series work in place of the laser platinums since the g does have platinum? My transmission does seem to have a little hesitation between 2-3, granted the car sat up for a little over a year, does anyone know if the fluid swap would help?

I might flush the trans when I feel like it to se if I can smooth it out completely but the swap did help for sure.
