2012-2013 NBA Thread

It is almost playoff time, people!  Who will finally make it in the 8th spot in the Western Conference?  Will the Heat make it to the Finals again?  Some sports commentators are saying Indiana is the only team in the East to actually put up a good fight.  Thoughts?

even if the Lakers make the 8th seed they still won't make it pass the 1st round.
Yesterday's win was more of a choke on NO then a impressive win by the Lakers...
that and that win was overshadowed by Blake Griffin's dunk LOL
I see the Heat in the finals again only teams I see giving them a run for there money is Indiana, Knicks, and Bulls and probably in that order

I actually liked Jamal's pass better than the dunk.....JC has always been one of my favorite players in the NBA...

Pisses me off when the lakers are catchign up and playign good team basket ball and in the final minutes Kobe decides to forcefully take over when it's unecessary if they had continued playing team ball they would have won ...if hes lucky and makes a few then they win but sometimes he doesnt and we loose....
he should use the attention he gets at the end of the game and create an open shot for DHoward  innstead///



also I have been finding my self more exited during the Clippers games recently than the lakers...

I don't know about all that.  Indiana, I agree.  Knicks and Bulls, I'm not quite sure.

Does it even matter who we list that we think will match up against them...who can really stop the heat? At least the Knicks are ranked #2 and Bulls have D. Rose cleared to play again. And the Pacers just got owned by the Heat so what do you think?

no one in the east will match up well.  IF spurs can slow down the tempo of the game, they stand a chance.  OKC needs another year of maturation.  Lakers should have would have could have matched up well, but weve all seen how their season has played out.
