#488096New to the VIP
Hey, names trevor, i am new to this whole VIP chassis business but have already been powered by a VH45DE in my old s14. Never gonna look into any other swap has it quickly became my favorite. Therefore, after selling the 14 i found a local guy who let me pick up his '92 Q45 nice and cheap and only had 141k on her too. Plans are in the works already for 5 speed swap and basic suspension(coils, control arms, tie rods, etc.) gonna be the new cheap AF drift car. Hopefully beat the hell outta this boat and then maybe transplant back into a 240. Maybe, we will see.Anyways, back to the intro, im in school as a civil engineer in South Dakota and have been into drifting for many years now. I found this forum when looking for info on the 5 speed swap for the car and decided that it will be a good source of info, hence the joining.. I currently drive a SAAB 9-2x linear for a daily and am working on the Q for a toy. Pics will come soon, cant wait to get going on the project and ill give a thx in advance right now to whomever is willing to answer some questions along the way.
