I've Got The 2nd Gen. Odyssey Aka Honda Lagreat RL1.
And Would Like To Put The Same Size Rims!

So with those wheels it's possible?
I was thinking fender pull (and hopefully my sliding doors will still open)
and even taking out the fender well!

Are you suggesting that I'd have to do more than that?

add negative camber. but your list sounds just about right and of course gotta make sure the doors open : )

So, I did find the pictures but still unsure what size that guys working with?

maybe you can open the sliding door, then measure how much room you have to pull the fender. then you can get the specs (width and offset at the least) of what ever wheel you have on now. then you measure from the edge of the lip of the wheel to the fender when. that will tell you what kind of offset you will need. maybe a 9 or 9.5 would be enough in the rear for suspension clearance.

You can also extend the door out with a bracket allowing for more clearance.  That's what they do for all the widebody vans.

I'm fairly certain you'd need a door extension bracket for wheels that deep - with the camber, the bottom of the door would hit the wheel I think.

elpresidente, OH REALLY!  ...you wouldn't know where I could get these brackets you speak of???  I originally wanted to do a wide body but was unable to find a shop to extend and strengthin my brackets.

firelizard, really appreciate the response.  the bottom does hit!  I've got some universal fender flares and no matter how high I go it still rubs panel.

Haha, you don't "buy" them.  You fabricate them.  Not all widebodies are going to be the same width.  Many of the guys have custom widebodies..so they are all different in size.  The brackets are fabricated to the required length by a more skilled bodyshop or yourself if you know how.  Not much different than a lot of the fabrication we did on hotrods and streetrods.  People like repeating me here...

Unless you find out "from the horse's mouth" what fitment wheel they're running, it's almost impossible to just guess it... more so if you can't even really see exactly what wheel they've got. You can emulate that ody's setup, but I think it's safe to assume that car has modified fenders, front and rear, also. Best bet for treading on what is essentially uncharted territory in the US: do like some said, and use wheels with existing, known fitments, and add/subtract from there. Or try and dig around some more (i.e. look in some japanese wagon mags), and see what fitment wheels those guys are running and find a setup that you like... of all the jdm mags, the wagon ones are usually the best at stating comprehensive wheel fitment info

Yah, Wagonist was pretty good about that.  I haven't checked one out in quite some time though.

Estima is the JDM equivalent of the Previa. So, my uninformed guess is no.

I posted that to show that there ARE manufacturers out there that make the extensions, so it's possible there are ones for the Odyssey somewhere.  I knew those Garson ones weren't available for the Odyssey... just saying that there are companies make those door extensions.
