D2 coilovers?

This may sound stupid but I had my coilovers installed about and 3 weeks ago and I want to adjust them but have no clue how to. I thought I had it but couldn't figure out which locking nut to move to adjust it because I kept getting confused with D2 saying not to move the top locking nut because it will move the spring, so I just need a diagram or something because I don't know what I am doing. Any help would be great thanks. Oh and I watched YouTube videos but the locking nuts on mines look really different (D2 street series)

loosen the 3rd ring (bottom ring) left to right and give it space.

1st ring on top should be locked to 2nd ring (both should be locked together and always should be)

if you want to go lower turn the 1st ring (top ring) from right to left.

if you want to go higher turn the 2nd ring (middle ring) from left to right.

when done tighten the 3rd ring (bottom ring) fromt right to left.

Good luck
