How much does it cost for a VIP Civic Exterior ?

Hi,

Just wanted to know how much should it cost to build a VIP style car ?

This is a used Civic, I'm planning to build.

This is what I'm going to use:

Bumper Kit + Side Skirts
Lowering Coilovers
Deep Dish Rims
Tyres
Paint

In USD ?

Thank You

Definitely not a VIP platform do some homework before you post in the wrong section...if you want to build it with some vip style it can be done you"ll have to research what you like and want though several bodykit, suspension, and wheel options out there again it all depends on your taste find some brands and google them the info is there...

Not sure about budget, now.

As I set a budget of $1200, then, the actual price came up to $2500, and now after a lot of finding about what all is required, the actual price is around $8000, as I'll be importing it into my country, there isn't much of all this stuff here...

So what's your say.

Thank You.

I say for a body kit you'd pay anywhere from 3,000 to 7,000 for a full kit unpainted and installed. So add like another 2-3k on top of that just for the paint and labor alone (that's being cheap abut it). And if you're going to buy a kit to mold onto your existing civic bumper that's going to cost a bit more.
For coilovers you have a range anywhere from 500 to 2000 dollars. Pick which ones suit the ride comfortability and route you're going for.
If you're looking for brand new deep dish rims I'd say anywhere from 3,000 to 4,000 a set? Depending on sizes and company. Tires I'd say anywhere from 500 to 1500.
So if you add everything up I'd say the most you'll spend is about 20k in everything.

Typically your looking at 10K minimum if you do all the work yourself/mates, but shop builds might add 10-20K on top... so your budget is way off. Save up 20K and go from there. With my old piece of shit I calculated that if I would have drove it to a shop and told my vision to them and handed a list of high end bolt-on parts needed it would have cost me around 100K in total haha

Yes, that's the thing, I'm not doing it myself as I'm afraid of a shit job and multiple attempts until crap has been made of the fenders, also I don't have the technical know-how.

So I just wanted to know if I'm paying too much, but seems like line with VIP styles. Agreed, I'm not actually going Genuine VIP as it'd be actually be too expensive the body specially.

Just a question, these figures are in USD $ ?

ThanX a lot people.

Well my figures were in Euros, but it's doesn't make a difference we're still talking about tens of thousands. Few grand here or there doesn't matter, that's a night out at town money =)

definitely true as far as $$$ goes, but the same amount put into a nicer car yields more rewards. not to mention that it's cheaper and easier to build a platform with aftermarket (vip) support.

3-4k for vip kit
1k+ to mod fit
1k for coilovers
3k for wheels
1k+ for fender work
3k+ for paint

15k ballpark.
