Vip Style BMW E60 - 2013 updates!

Just wanted to share some new pictures my friend took this past weekend.

Updates from last year: AirRex air suspension, fixed bumper and fenders.

Next project: rear bumper and exhaust.

Looking good, I remember seeing your car when it was featured on Canibeat. I believe you were static at the time? How do you like the airrex system? I plan on going w them in the near by future. Btw how low are you able to roll?

Yes, I was on KW V2 coilovers last year.

So far, so good with the AirRex system. They make the install process SO easy.

I don't have the hi-res but here's a rolling shot. Keep in mind that I don't drive this low since I don't want to mess up more aero! I slowly aired down on the highway and smelled lots of melted rubber!

Yes, that was last year when I was still on KW V2s.

I really love how simple AirRex makes the transition from static to air. You don't have to mess around with your trunk setup if you don't have the patience off the bat.

I don't roll that low since I am sick of body work! I finally got everything looking pretty again so my drive height is kinda high.

This past weekend, I aired down on the highway for a rolling shot. Pretty scary stuff since my tires get squeezed by panels when I air down. I smelled melted rubber and aired back up!

I didn't think I had a pic of it, but I looked through my files anyway, and I actually found it.

But after seeing the pic for the 1st time since coming back, I realized that its not the "identical" twin I thought it was, but its close..

Hmm it's a little too bland for me but definitely much more OEM+ than my build!

Yeah for sure. I'm not trying to say its on the same scale as your build. Yours definitely looks a lot better!   But I haven't seen it since I took it and uploaded it, and my memory was a bit off.  Its definitely not your car's identical twin (my apologies, if I offended your build; wasn't trying to), but you can see the similarities between them and the reason why I thought it was the very similar.  =)
