FS: *One of One* THE Lexus IS1000

I don't think this car needs anymore introduction, but out of respect to this community and the members here, please read on. After you have read everything, please PM me directly if you would like to discuss further (ask question or make offer). Thanks. :) Asking Price: Just $32,500 or best offer. To be honest I'm very flexible on the price and motivate to sell it efficiently as-is at a considerable loss for not parting anything out, so as long as you have the funds of your offer ready to send, then PM me, no dibs or waiting, I don't think I need to explain further. Payment is C.O.D. (cashier check/wire transfer are fine). It would be nice and fun keep it as a whole; but to anyone good at parting out a car, you can make some serious $ here. TITLE ON HAND, no waiting or delay on my end. Vin # available for those that inquire.

If you have never seen this car before, please do a Google-search of “LEXUS IS1000” first, recognize and understand the status of this vehicle before you read on the following detail; here's one from LEXUS.com (http://www.lexus.com/sema/main.swfc) lick "SEMA Showcase Winner".

The LEXUS IS1000 you are currently browsing is the ultimate SEMA competition winner directly from Lexus North America. This vehicle is an important piece of LEXUS history, as it was debuted side-by-side during the North America unveiling of LFA in 2009. However, unlike the LFA production of 500, this IS1000 is ONE-OF-ONE. Lexus acknowledged this vehicle-build because it represents its brand well, as an example for “Pursuit of Perfection”.

The vehicle was built with the rarest and most expensive parts from Japan, all authentic, and no shortcut was taken. Many of the rare parts on this vehicle are highly desired and would take years to source for anyone else to attempt it, let alone put together by the professionals. True collectors and enthusiasts understand the value just by digesting the detail specs below, parts alone totaled worth well over $100,000.00 USD, not including labor; despite the extraordinary cost of the built, the status alone is priceless- ownership of the world’s only “LEXUS IS1000”.

The authenticity of the vehicle status is shown through a screen-shot of it being feature (currently) on LEXUS’ home-page http://www.lexus.com/SEMA/main.swf as well as an OEM promotional-video that was shot for its SEMA debut. Again, a simple Google-search shows the entire world recognizing the status, the reputation, and the value of this vehicle

Here is the OEM promo-video from Lexus North America:

One of the biggest reason why I have to let this baby go is because I will be soon selling the house where this is stored and move closer to the school where I'll be attending for my master degree; with that said, here are some of the most recent pics, taken in front of the house:

The condition of the car is as perfect as the recent pictures show, and now that you’ve seen it and read the description with detail specs, please PM me if you are a serious buyer. The mileage of 30,000 is regarding the chassis, but the motor setup has only been driven for 1000 miles or less, very well maintained. The car is available to be ship/transport lower 48 states, but cost is on buyer.

Again, please PM me if you would like to discuss further (ask question, make offer..etc). Thanks! :)

Thanks! :)

The engine was built to cover all the ground work to handle such power, but going from low to high, with the current turbo & A/R housing, it puts out between high 4xxrwhp to low 5xxrwhp on pump w/ the lowest boost setting (under 1bar), and it can hit the 6xxrwhp zone on race fuel w/ higher boost setting (1~1.5bar+); with a different HKS turbo such as the T51R Kai w/ bigger A/R housing and a change in fuel & tuning on the setting, plus race fuel and 2bar of boost it can hit the low 8xxrwhp zone (and that would be 1000hp crank). To really go above and beyond, HKS T62R BB + further upgrade on the fuel hardware & transmission (built V160), a new tune on the FconVpro it already has, over 4 digits rwhp is not out of the question. It depends on what the new owner wants to do, the current power capability is good enough to have a lot of fun, but it has solid potential for the next level if necessary.

Is the auto trans stock?

Just out of curiosity what does it currently make? Since you posted the dyno video, i'm kinda curious as I am helping a friend build a 2jz swapped IS currently and we are trying to determine a turbo that suits is power goals.

No, it's the 4 speed Aristo trans that came with the motor, stronger than the stock IS auto trans. You can PM me to talk about more details, but honestly your friend could save a lot of $ to buy my car instead of building one from ground-up, just saying.

Yup! The new owner will either have some fun keeping it or make good $ by parting it out, either way it's a rewarding opportunity.

I agree, the vehicle platform and mostly the vehicle brand is a dying niche, but the parts equipped on the car have drawn attention exceeded my expectation, can definitely make a small fortune (more than double) for anyone parting the car out; and in that case, it'll end up in many good homes.
