Some brain work question ?

Hi all,

so I see all these Vip cars, body scraping, bumpers basically, the ground on over sized wheels, in this case if an inch smaller rim is used will the body still scrape or it will be based on the adjustment...are the bumpers the same size as the stock ones in height or are they bigger or they only look big due to lerge wheels ?

Yeah I'm still new...

ThanX...

usually the overall diameter remains about the same, but that depends on the tire size used. most body kits are taller than oem bumpers.

That means if 18 are used instead of 19, there are chances of gap between fender & tyres and scraping if lowered too much on 18 and still there will be gap between fender & tyre, right ?

if you use a 40 series 18 and a 35 series 19 tire the ground clearance will be about the same but there will be marginally more wheel gap.

in this case will the wheel gap be more noticeable from a distance ?, from your experience ?
