Hi, Im new to this forum and also sorta to the scene.  Ive been building cars for 15 years but just recently discovered this look.  Im lovin the endless possibilities.  I got a Q45 about 3 years ago and thought wheels and lowering was really all I could do, guess I was wrong.  The Bippu history and unique styling in japan has really got me.  I have lots of questions, hope I dont become annoying.  After building cars for as long as I have Ive learned to become a sponge for automotive related knowledge...  Thanks.

Ill have some soon.  Its on 20" Zenettis, coilovers, and a cima grill now, but I have lots of plans.  By the way, that picture of the crown and the Y33 has been my screen saver for a few months now.  That y33 is one of the cleanest Ive seen.  Ive been building 50-60s porsches and VWs for the past 15 years, ground up restorations and street machines.  Cant wait to take what Ive learned from restoration and race cars to the VIP scene.  Im a memeber of a 25 year old VW club call The German Folks, we have chapters in the UK all over the US and even in Japan. Really?  Didnt know that.  Ill have to hit him up for the mirrors.  By the way Robert.  Thanks for the badges.  I love the looks I get on the streets.  I was at the dealership looking at buying a F50 a couple of days ago and the sales men had to take a good look at my car and said "I thought this was a Q45".  I just smiled and said "It is"...

one time my friend got pulled over, he had his car painted royal sapphire blue pearl, and jdm silvia badges all over it, and the cop wrote down that it was a purple nissan silvia! he should have fought it in court that the officer didn't know what kind of car he was driving, that his car was blue, and it was a 240sx, not a silvia.

Had a semi-similar occurance while out on a drive with some friends about 8 or 9 years ago along the coastline.. friend's intercooler hose blew off on his S13, and while we were on the side of the road figuring a good way to fix the prob w/o any tools, a cop drove by and stopped and yelled out "hey, is that a nissan silvia?!" We were like wow, now that's a cop in the know (keeping in mind this was back before nissans were all the rage)! Of course we discretely closed the hood as he comes over and says, "yah I could tell that front end was from a Silvia... hey, what kind of engine you got there?" We laugh and tell him it's just stock... but he was cool and just said "you liars, I know what's in there... let me call a tow truck up for you guys." Then he hung around and talked cars until the truck showed up... cool cops like that can be rare sometimes.

AERO KIT!?!?!? what did you get?

Heres some video of my car rollin in my new work wheels.  19x9.5 +15  19x10.5 +17.  I know it needs to be lower.  But that comes after the kit.  I just need to decide which I want.  Cant make up my mind between the Aimgain kit or the Mode kit.  Someone backed into my rear bumper about 3 weeks ago so I cant wait much longer.   It will be on a kit and air by the end of july for sure.  Cant wait.  Thats again Robert for the wheels.
