custom engine mounts to rasie engine?
Hey guys just wondering for the people that run static who have done a engine mount mod where you make the engine mount thicker than the stock one so you raise it a little?

No point with the 2JZ mate... just get a new downpipe made + raised catback.
But with certain engines (v8's/VAG's/etc.) it's easier to cut/drill some spacers or just get new mounts made than to hassle with the exh. mani's or oil pans. Easiest way to make new mounts is to buy some hockey pucks, tube of Sikaflex, a few feet of threaded rod and thick washers.
