??? about custom drilled p.c.d from Work Wheels

I am looking at the Varaienza D3S wheels, which isn't normally available in a 4x114.3. I was told that Work Wheels will custom drill the 4x114.3 p.c.d for a few bucks extra each wheel. Now while price shopping at different shops, one shop told me that in order to get that custom drilled p.c.d, work wheels will wait till they have a order of 50 sets before they start doing that custom drill. So I will never know when they will actually be ready,could be months to years.  Is this true?

you might be able to get SSR wheels custom drilled...I ordered a single SP-1 Professor wheel in a custom offset and PCD for BMW M3.   I only ordered one to fix a VERY damaged lip.   It took about 6 months though but better then rolling on just 3 rims.   The place I got it at was from [url]www.gruppe-s.com[/url].   Very good service.

they also get Work wheels so might be able to get it through them also but i don't know if you could get it custom drilled..

by looking at the wheel:

you should be able to assume they will not re-drill it. 


now if the 50 order thing is true, then they aren't re-drilling it per say, they are just offering the wheel in another PCD.  it would require a re-design and creation of new centers.

One of the guys on this board from autofashion told me;

"...for the d3s 4x114.3 isn't a common bolt pattern but i can get you a custom set @ $40 extra per wheel. work japan will make blank faces w/ no bolt holes and custom drill them out..."

Then while shopping around for the best price I can find, another shop told me WORK WHEELS would need 50 sets ordered before they would even start drilling that p.c.d

I am just wondering which is to be true, cause If I would have to end up waiting for ever and ever and ever for a set of wheels, that WORK WHEELS may never get around to making, then I'd proably end up getting the EuroLine DH wheels

AF got FS's for their old XA custom drilled from work.

ANY PCD (within parameters listed in the catalog) can be drilled for extra $50. No minimum. .

i remember looking on the work wheels japan website and they do offer the d3s in 4 lug but its a 4x100.

If your supplier sez you cant get custom P.C.D. go somewhere else..
