Greetings from Yangon, Myanmnar

Hey all

Been lurking for a while, deciding to get a Nissan Cedric Y34 2003 250LEV JDM

Just got it last Saturday and have been really happy with it.

Sending her today to the workshop to change the drive chain as it is loose (and rattling) according to the computer diagnostic.

Any veterans on this model please do help on the following:-

1.) Hands free phone connector - spotted a plug that looks really prehistoric in the armrest console which I highly suspect to be the phone connector, has anyone been able to connect their iphones or androids via this connector (modified to fit) if so much suggestion and help is appreciated.
My ride comes with the volume controls as well as handsfree on the steering wheel.

2.) Change clock time

3.) English manual or some translated documentation

4.) Recommended rims

5.) advise on stance and height (myanmar has terrible roads and humps and potholes and its suicidal to slam it or etc)

I may install a new single din radio to replace the one (from previous owner in japan) which is under the dashboard front passenger side, with an iPod/bluetooth/DVD capable one.

I notice that when this radio is on (connected via the RCA ports behind the armrest console), the OEM screen on the dashboard automatically switches to it. Hence I see a light at the end of the tunnel for an aftermarket reverse camera which shall be connected to this new radio I plan to install.

If owners here have installed a CD changer (mine doesnt come with one) or reverse camers or even a handsfree without a new single din radio, much advice on how to go about doing it or such is greatly appreciated!!!!

Almost all recon cars imported are JDM.

The 1.3L market here is crazy .. u see 1.3L JDM cars everywhere.

We have other luxury and sport cars here as well, a few bugattis /bentley conti / bentley / rolls / lincoln , lots of porsche / ferraris / lambo / etc

there are tons of Skylines as well as GTRs and other Jap sports cars around

the REAL prob is there is only one if not no REALLY good aftermarket sports / car modification shop here.

Trying to get spares or mod your car is a REAL nitemare.

People here are going crazy over jap imports, but no one has a clue to how to REALLY provide a good aftermarket one stop service solution

Even getting day to day car stuff for minor DIY is such a chore.

p.s. the govt just changed the laws on vehicles very very recently (1 yr odd), so every one is importing cars like crazy from Japan (main) and other countries.
