I'm Back! PoorForm 2001 LS430UL

its been probably.... 3 or 4 years since i last had a big ol' sedan?

I was content, driving cars fresh off the lot with warranties and stuff. buying houses, you know... grownup stuff haha.

But when the chance to grab this car came up, i just couldnt say no. black on black ultra lux?! hell yeah! super rare up north here. price was right too.

overall it was in pretty good shape when i picked it up wednesday. we took it over to the shop and changed the oil, adjusted the right height sensors and cleaned up the interior. last night we did a quick clay/polish/wax, recharged the a/c. then it rained today :pat:

tonight we'll replace the HIDs, and she will be ready for the show the crew will be heading to this weekend.

nothing too special done to it yet, just a ride height controller and its sitting on some borrowed works, till i get my gnosis refinished.

just going to roll it as a daily from now till next season... then we shall see what happens.

turns out we ordered a-disks for the gnosis... waiting on some custom spacers before i can toss them on

just factory air w/controller. the white one is on accuair w/Youzealand SS Pro Kit... he is jealous of what good shape my factory air is in haha. i'll probably just end up with the pro kit since i always look like a 4x4 when i park near him

front is sitting alright, back needs to be spaced out a bit... pretty freaky how close mustang and UCF31 fitment is

so finally got around to doing a little work on this thing, had a little rust that started to form on the quarters so thought i'd fix that... next thing you know i buy a roll of 3m 1080 in matte dark gray, and matte gray aluminum...

Very nice !! What Polish did you use on the headlights ? Mine are starting to turn and wanna catch it before it gets too bad.

just used the turtlewax headlight kit, it comes with a sealer so hopefully it works this time around, after i polished them last year with just the headlight paste they yellowed again.

here is the final project, it was a long night... but we got it done in time!

Nope, wrapping sucks haha... so many trick and tips one needs to know, also have to really have a feel for the material too... but anyways... here are a few good pics:

sitting on some tanabe z40's now... will be doing aftermarket air this winter

still waiting for them to settle, then final ride height adjustments will be made. custom PF valving of course... they ride pretty nice
