Going for Air, daily drivers, input please...

Hi all,

so as the title says it all, Im about to go air ride for my daily driver and Im looking for input from people who have installed since 8 months to a year or more, which Brand did you go for, would like to know how its like, the maintenance, issues you might have come across, what all have you replaced since you have installed, what wears out faster and anything that's informative, ways to go around had the system failed.

Please be advised I'm not looking for comparison or Pro's & Con's.

UAE huh.  

Where in UAE?
depending on location, rust of improperly treated (and knowing the quality of work in the UAE nad KSA it is a good bet) steel after fabrication, wiring issues from stuff not soldered or connected properly, etc etc etc.

my biggest worry is with the heat in our area is the deterioration of rubber faster than normal (say 5 years instead of 8)

But that being said. Ive Dailied on air.  I always use a coilover setup with universal air suspension.  I prefer manual valves personally, but also use electric. As long as you have a good water trap, keep your tank trained and trap drained of water, and make sure everything is correctly installed, you will be fine for years.

Being that i use a coilover all the time, i ALWAYS keep a spring in the trunk under the spare tire in case a bag blows for any reason.  in about an hour i can pull a coilover and swap the bag for a spring to get home safe.

I am getting it done from Bear Garcia, nobody does air here, he's the only experienced guy, so has been told to me over UAEBoost. I'm also planning on covers for Air Bags to protect them from debris. How do you do Coilovers with Air Bags as you have mentioned, is it Bag-over-Coils ?

Also does KSA allow Air cause UAE doesnt ?

I thought Lorin Robbins was still with west coast customs dubai? He is super good with air. Knew him a little in japan

Bring it to KSA, are you serious.....:), nice one though...

its a 1000SAR delivery. guarantee you it would be cheaper even with the delivery. 

however, we may be opening up in dubai by end of the year, so may want to wait;)

Now we talkin, may be ?, I can wait by that time my wheels will be in UAE too...

Currently, Im getting installation for AED 6K, not including air system...

Fly us out there and we'll do it.

What does the truckers say about bags there? Sand is a vicious thing at highway speeds, that might shorten the bag life especially with the extreme heat...

actually, most trucks out here are leaf spring rears that i know of.

What Im thinking of is to make a custom cover for bags, something mildly thick material cloth where I can tie knots on the top & bottom and a sticky thing that school bags use, something like this:

but for Air Bags...should help the bags from debris...

Also can I know if the bags fail for any reason and car sits low, will it be able to travel/drive, or will it need be towed away ?
