Hi All,I've had my E38 for almost a year now and decided it's about time I started a thread for her.
Backstory: I had an E46 3 Series before this, and fell in deep like with BMWs and the way they handled. After two blown pistons and a repossession with that car, I searched online for my next BMW. I knew it had to be a BMW, it couldnt be anything else. I was inspired by a few E38's I saw on certain blogs, and searched hard for my own.
BAMM. Some old lady had one for sale on Craigslist in Beverly Hills. Black on Black. 90k Original Miles. I was enamored.
This was the day I brought her home and gave her the name Renee, after a song by the Lost Boys.

After 11 months she's currently at 103,XXX miles and I've added the following small mods:
Wide View Rearview Mirror
Wood 750 Porn Lights
Wood 750 Maplight
Wood 750 Armrest Handle
Euro Clear/Red Tail lights
East Exit Switch

And around early September a lady cut me off in traffic and forced me to swerve into a utility pole.

So here's where we are currently at in the build.
OEM Front Bumper Assembly
OEM Rear Bumper Cover (Mine has a crack)
OEM Hood(Mine has a fold near headlight)
OEM Driver Side Fender
Awaiting PDR on all other vehicle panels
Depo Foglight Assemblies
OEM Amber Corners
Replica Alpina Front Lip from CLC
Ebay M-Style Trunk Spoiler
Window Rain Visors

And a little wheel teaser. If you cant make out the lettering, it says:
"Work"
"Made in Japan"
More updates after/during my tune-up. Will be a month or two since Holidays are around the corner and I need to save up for gifts aha.
Thanks again for looking gents, you've all helped me in one way or another and I appreciate each and everyone of the posters on this forum!
