Axis...
Do you have any other wheels in mind other than axis?
prettymuch here's my dilemma :-D
oh joy! so i originaly started looking at the gs's then thought about ls... then i was conviced i was geting a w201 190e, at some point in time i was thinking about a c300 *wtf?*, but im finaly set on the gs. i have a budget of aprox 19k. I'm waiting to find a black on black gs4 in good condition, my plans are to either get a nice set of coilovers or airbags, i want to have the tsurachi look but i need it to be drivable trough modarate bumps and sometimes a ocasional 1-1.5" deep pothole. (It seems after the snow stuck around for a couple weeks the roads are looking more and more like the moon's surface) I want to have as much lip as possible w/o having to roll my fenders (perfered). These caught my eye, and i really like the rim design. I know they're not the best quality but for someone in college on a budget they'll do good for a year or 2... just enough for me to save up for some real baller rims.
Any sugestions appreciated. I'm looking to spend aprox 4k on suspension/wheel/tire setup. I know its a pretty tight number but im sure i can find used setups :-D

those axis rims look like Algernon Intelesse...If you want some sort of mesh wheels, I would recommend looking into some Kranze Borphes.
I dont want to burst your bubble, but your gonna have to do some fender work to have a flush look. Unless you have some sort of a 4x4 stance or a really stretched tire.

A forged wheel will hold up far better than a cast wheel in any of your situations. Not to mention if you hit something good enough you'll have to buy a new wheel with the cast wheels where with the forged you could just get it fixed, which would also cost far less. Scrap the Axis idea and buy a nice set of used multi-piece wheels.

But wait a minute, if i read this correctly he doesn't even have the car yet???
I dunno man, you have to really hustle hard or else get into something else in the meantime, i mean when i order my wheels i know i'm going to be broke but if you can't you can't just walk away and save you're self the drama.
Just my 2 cents

I just started real work, and am moving out, pile of expenses but I'm still gonna roll stock until I can get the real deal.
You can do better than Axis, it's worth the wait.
