need input on VIPstyle SUV

hey new member here.im new to the game of VIP stlye and i wanted the community's input on my project.i currently own a '06 infiniti qx56. nothing much done since i bought it yet, just tint all around(including windsheild) and stainless pillars.i know its not a true VIPcar platform but does it have potential to be a VIPstyle car?future mods will be: air ride suspension, zenetti heir suv black rims, custom fiberglass front and rear lip kit(currently in designing),grille(cant decide from billet or mesh),curtains...etc.heres a couple pictures of its current state.all comments are welcomed.thanx

Just make a nice SUV.  But even calling it VIP Style is stretching it.  It's a nice SUV, but it's still an SUV..not a minivan.  Have your flame suit on the ready...you might need it.  Some members on this site, including me, can be very serious about VIP.  I decided to step to the plate in a constructive way to tell you that the style of vehicle you have couldn't really ever be VIP in our sense of the term.  It is nice..so don't get me wrong, and if you really want to build it that way..do it.  It's your vehicle, but like I said, it's not VIP and calling anything VIP Style that has curtains and what not has gotten old fast and doesn't really belong here.

first off, just make sure you don't get offended or pissed off if anyone has an opinion that you do not like.  Second, its your car, build it the way you want, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.  lastly, my opinion, its not a VIP Car platform, and not a current VIP Style car platform, so of course there may be some resistance to your decisions.  Like I stated before, its your car, build it how u like.  Good luck with the project and keep us posted!

Noice Ride Mang..I was looking into buying one but I chose the LX470 over it. 
I think you will find it very hard to make this vehicle VIP. There are not a lot of options for it in that area of modding. The only advice I could offer is to get some really nice 3 piece staggered wheels(Diamond Cut Centers with a polished lip) Beeing that the vehicles is so heavy and Big  you probably do not want to get small steched out tires..I would say go with a 20x10f AND 20x12r. Next get some puddle lights and convert your side mirrors to except the mercedes turn signals and get some Window Visors. Thats it for the out side I would not even slam this ride. The inside look for the aftermarket real woodgrain kit to complament the other pieces. Get some Tv's in your head rest and sit back and enjoy, but after doing all this it still won't be VIP but you will at least have VIP insperation. THink of it as the Yakuzza traveling meeting office/lounge. LOL

Come on guys if you except kcars and Scion Bbox  as VIP styled/inspired cars , then I am sure thier is room for vehicles like this somewhere.

Thats what happens when you start allowing and excepting vehicles that arnt true VIP platform cars into sites like this. Now everyone thinks that any car slammed with some wide low offset wheels and a fusa is VIP..I had been saying this for a while now that we need to be more true to the style and keep VIP styling in the US the same as in Japan, so that it is all the same.

Good luck on your build man..it will be hard.

throw some 22"s on it, i know there are a few VIPwheel companies that make them. slam it, and that's about all you can do. it will look good if you can do it right. goodluck!

Even  slammed with some bigger wheels and some camber still looks more dub than VIP. Now it could look nice like this with the right wheels and what not , but honestly you have to ask your self is it worth it to spend all the money it will take to get this beast to look remotley VIP? VIP styling is not cheap and at the end of the day you may not be happy witht the results with this Vehicle..Maybe get a cheap LS or something at do VIP style to that instead..YOu can find these ls's for $3000+. At at that point it wont matter if you mess up the car for the styling.

LOL, that picture looks like a pregnant Scion.  Or maybe a Scion on steriods.

that right there looks alright to me.but all that owner did was air bag it with huge rims.those rims are chrome,which i really hate.im fabbing up a lip that brings the bottom facia out a little more,and a rear lip is also on design.the mirrors i could get off a armada.heres a picture of the rims im getting.thanx for your response guys.greatly appreciated.

You do know that it is a Photoshop right? Look at like this, I even made the rear lip deeper than before added the black center and it Looks Cool but still NOt VIP..

Zenetti Heir.  I don't think they have too many offset options though since it's a one piece wheel.

I was gonna say that same thing,  I think you be disapointed with the zenettis.  I was.  They look sweet in pictures, but not the same in the flesh.  They do make a forged 3 peice line, but there are only two options that I have seen.  they are the primo and the five forged, nice wheels.

DON'T go with those wheels, it's too dubish. i'll look around and see what i can find. how big do you want to go?

looks alot better than the first PS.maybe a grille is needed,it looks tundra-ish.maybe a billet or mesh.heres some pix.i also figured if the standard wheel size for a VIP sedan is 20",ill need to go 22" +.the roof rack might have to come off.looks like the headlights needs an eybrow mod and the fog lights yellow'd out.iono.thanx.i really appreciate the help guys.

go with the second grille, or just leave it stock. leave your foglights the way they are, and  i don't know about the eye brow.

Its going to take allot of work to make a full size SUV to a low cambered VIP.  If you want VIP I might aswell sell it and get a LS460.

Agreed. Also, don't change the grill. It looks better with the stock grill.

I Agree about the grill, id look for one exactly like it without the infiniti logo.

I know it's a old thread but did you ever manage to do what you wanted to the QX. I'm wondering cause I have the same car and being looking at some VIP things that I would like to throw on my qx.
