Car help.
Well, I found a 93 Ls400 for a really good price, one that I cannot pass up. The car itself is in decent condition but there's only one problem...timing chain broke. I'm unfamiliar with this part so is that something that can be fixed or would the engine have to be replaced? Also, it looked rather low for a stock car, so maybe if that particular model had air sus. it is just deflated? Well, thanks. Anything will help.

If the timing chain broke then more than likely the valve are bent. which means $_$ If you can source a motor for cheap in good condition that would be the better route then trying to fix one thing to find out other things are broken.
Now if you like rebuilding motors then thi sis the project for you. Broken Timing chains are a PIA, so I would try to talk them down more but that's me.

actually on a 93, if the timning BELT breaks, everytyhing is fine. 90-94 are non interference engines. just install a new t belt and water pump and drive on.
