New wheels.

I bought these wheels, from a member here, for my SC300. I havent recieved them yet. A guy, today, said that they probably wont clear my front brakes, without running a spacer. Does anyone know if this is true? Why would this be? Theyre 18x9 +20/ 18x10 +20.

stock 2 pot brake calipers should be fine.

the 95+ LS all come with 4 pot brakes thus why he says won't fit his car.

yeah it will be fine. if not, a SMALL spacer would push it out enough. but you wont need it.

for sc on stock fender and quarter with minor mods, it should be pretty flush.

But how low are you willing to go to pull off the look? and will the rest of your car look VIPstyled?

Im not trying to conform to a style. Ive always liked the rim kissing the fender look. So, Thats what Im going for. Im bagging the car and Ill be running negative camber, so I suppose itll have a VIP appearence.

Im a big fan of all the "styles". I like vip, lowriders, euros, hot rods, rat rods, ect... , even donks! Probably why Im on my 53'rd car! Im just an overall enthusiest. Im the same way with motorcycles. I ride a crotch rocket, and a old school chopper.

they may clear depending on the disc type. work wheels uses O, A, R, T codes for their disc types. O (low disc) having the least amount of clearance might not clear.
