New Member Not Very VIP... it kinda was

Hi guys,

My name is steve and I slide cars around.  HAve a 240sx.  It was nice when it was in D-Units hands, but after i put it through its paces and daily drove it, its got nicks cracks half a bumper etc.  I'm really on here to sell my brake pads but they won't let me because i don't have enough post counts.  

Anyways its got all the suspension bits and peices sitting on 17X9 -21 in the front and -6 in the rear (front has a 15mm spacer to clear my 30mm brakes)  Stock fenders with half a vertex aero kit.  The other quarter is in my living room and the other quarter is floating in the wind probably in tiny pieces.  I want a Y33 but it can't tow my 240sx so until i make more money i won't be rolling vip at all.


Giggle at my last picture i didn't know my suspension compresses so much.  I am not familiar with the Bay Area lingo, but am I considered a scraper ?

Dude I just saw the new Import Tuner! Whats with this Drift VIP?

I didnt get a chance to buy it since I was in a hurry and only had the change on me for a dutch.

Id bet good money a Q45 could tow if you put a trailer hitch on it, Ive seen an ls400 tow a small boat so you cant use that excuse, get a y33.

People in the US seem to be unable to seperate VIP with agressive wheel fittment. From my extended time here, I have started to see more drift guys throwing some low off-set, wide, wheels on a car, slaming the car and adding some camber and them claiming that they have a VIPdrift machine, or that their car is semi-vip, or sporty-vip, or whatever else they have come up with.
 
Truth be told alot of these cars are about as far from vip as you can get... With their two different wheels front and back, cracks all over the place, shitty paint, botched fender rolls, and whatever else these cars tend to have.

I seen a Rabit tow a huge hitch with a rideing mower that was almost bigger than the car.

The previous owner didn't have botchy paint, nor rattled fenders.  I wish i had pictures of it still.  Wasn't the origin of VIP suppose to be bipu or vipu or something meaning low and wide? 

Oh well whatevers, not vip then.  Feel better?  I sure am. I feel like the worlds weight isn't on my shoulders anymore woooooo.

Yah im thinking about Y33 ::sigh::  Knowing me.  I'll see one on here and want to sell my 240 for one.

P.S.  The car is professionally painted an Audi Desert Pearl.  I wouldn't consider that shitty paint.  But to each his own.  :Borat: High Five

no, ur not vip, ur not a scraper. you are a drifter. go slide the highways big man...haha jk. that car WAS clean when it was with DU, oh well...you must like hitting curbs or something. 

by the way, don't take our attitude's so heavily. we're worse than zilvia. LOL. 

and to be a scraper, you need like 22" minimum, and be at stock height/lifted and still scrap the wheels against the fenders. you fail at both.
