Questions about a GS300/430
Hey everybody I'm new here but I have a couple of question about the GS300 and the GS430. So I'm looking at getting an '01-'04 and spending no more than $30k on the car. Now I know the GS300 is cheaper than the GS430 and I've seen quite a bit of GS430s with everything in them. Now I don't see any GS300s with navigation or the top of the line stereo system available. So my question is did the GS300s ever come with all the options that the GS430 came with?
I am leaning towards the GS430 because I want all the options available for these cars and there are a few in my area that I'm interested in. But if the GS300 came with these options I would rather take one of those and I would love to do a Supra TT swap in it, but I would leave the engine stock. Thanks for any info you can provide for me, I'm really serious about getting one of these cars.

No love for the GS4oo? It is rare to find a GS300 fully loaded, but they are out there. I would set your sights on a 430 for the power.

Oh, I do have love for the GS400. I actually went for a ride in one these last summer and I was quite impressed with the way they perform and thats when I really started liking the GS series. But yeah I was curious if the GS300s ever came with the same options, thanks for clearing that up for me. I think I will be leaning towards the GS400/430.

Yeah I'm going to be getting a GS400/430, I'm waiting to sell my '94 Corrado and pay off a couple of other things and then I'll be purchasing my GS400/430. I have a couple of people really interested in my Corrado, so hopefully one of them will fall through with it.

go for the 01 and up gs. it has a lot of little 'differences' that are just a bit nicer....like taillights, grille, steering wheel changes, stuff like that. little stuff that just makes it look that much better.

Yeah, I've been noticing that. First thing I noticed was that the 01-up had a wood-grain steering wheel and the leather seems to be a bit nicer too. I also haven't noticed too much difference in the performance of the engines either. I believe the GS400 had about 300hp and 310 lb-ft of torque and the GS430 had 300hp and 325 lb-ft of torque(I may be a little off on the numbers, so forgive me). So has anybody test driven both of them and do they perform just about the same?
