fog light fad

so the original vip fogs were square or similar shape nd kinda big....

then the same shapes were still the thing except they got smaller....

then the round and oval was the hot thing....

recently ive noticed some vip cars with long and thin fog lamps....

will this be the next fad in fogs for vip rides?
i like it tho.

perhaps it's just a movement from oem/oem style (first two) for the same application to aftermarket (piaa for example) back to oem, but for a different application (the ones on the last previa/estima resemble those from a ls430/celsior).

a few years ago, piaa/piaa style fogs seemed to be all of the rage, but now with the advent of h.i.d.'s and many people's desire for a more oem look, you don't see the aftermarket fogs as much.

I'm always a fan of the OEM look. Any shape is fine by me as long as it's subtle.

The last pic are not fogs. They look like, and i'm sure they are, S14 Silvia Kouki turn signals designed into the Estima(?) aftermarket Front Bumper.
